Transformation Story

My Faith and Fitness Mission

As a man of faith, I am also a father of 2 wonderful daughters, Arianna and Kaitlyn and my wife Trish, who I have been married to since 1984. I am lucky to still have my wonderful family in my life and it was their inspiration that led me to write my story. I have been clean and sober since 8-26-2001. God insisted I change my path and do what is right and genuine, without drugs and alcohol. I was transformed the instant I sincerely prayed to have God remove all of my shortcomings and he did. Prayer is the most powerful tool in my recovery and I can honestly say that my faith and understanding in the bible has been a true pathway to my clean and sober life. I joined a Martial Arts School and trained for over 7 years achieving a student Black Belt and then my 1st Degree Black Belt. In addition, to my Karate training I was very interested in bodybuilding and have pursued that training after I stopped going to the Karate School. I still incorporate martial arts forms and workouts on my heavy bag and speed bag 5 days per week and at 64 years old, I am in the best shape of my life. I have always believed in the bible and in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and as I continue life’s journey, I find peace in knowing God can do what I cannot.
